Juncheng TC Rolls for Low temperature rolling(LTR)

Juncheng Corp. Began to developed TC special materials for LTR since 2015, we have 4 grade for LTR rebar, wire & rod and alloy steel. They get very good feedback from China and overseas market. Now Danieli group supply the LTR technologies in their mill, we have coopertate with them and supply to these steel factory for few years.

Our LTR rolls advantages: reinforce the binding phase, improve creep resistance, good wear restance and excellent thermal fatigue resistance. Not easy to be broken and high rolling capacity. They are suitable for 700-850 ℃ LTR special steel, alloy steel, rebars and high speed rolling.

The advantages of low temperature rolling are: 

(1) Reduce heating energy consumption, reduce oxidative burning loss, and improve the yield rate; 

(2) Improve the heating output of the steel rolling heating furnace, extend the life of the heating furnace, and reduce the thermal stress fatigue cracks of the rollers and the wear caused by broken rollers and scales; 

(3) Reduce the depth of the decarburized layer, improve the surface quality of the product, refine the grains, and improve the performance of the product. 

The special requirements of low temperature rolling are: 

(1) The deformation resistance of the rolled material is increased, thereby increasing the rolling force and rolling power; 

(2) Reduced the plasticity of the rolled material during rolling, thereby affecting the bite of the rolled material; 

(3) Sometimes it is necessary to reduce the amount of pass reduction and increase the pass.

Background of Low temperature rolling （LTR） .
LTR is to heat the steel billet to a temperature lower than the conventional heating temperature, and the rolling is performed at a temperature lower than the conventional hot rolling temperature, more specifically, the intermediate temperature rolling.
